Continuum Example: y = 1 / x
This function is a classic example of a continuum giving insights into the nature of infinity. Since this function is symmetric around the point (1,1) we realize that the x interval between 0 and 1 has as many points as the interval of 1 to infinity. Therefore the concept that a line is composed of points is false. Instead we have a new beast called a continuum.
